What a great weekend of golf, comradery and a few verbal jabs. The alternate shot format on the front 9 yesterday was a huge success and made most of us appreciate the pressure the Pro’s are under during the Ryder Cup.
Saturdays result was interesting. Team Black took a commanding 14-7 lead when Team White rolled up their sleeves and roared back to tie it up at 14 – 14.
Sunday was a bit different. Both teams battled back and forth through 4 matches. That is when team Black went on a run and took a commanding lead and never looked back. Highlights from Nick Kim (9 handicap) playing lights out and was 1 over after 15 and Karl Ralph shooting a 32 on the back 9 to avenge his loos to Craig Barr from the previous year.
Team Gill and Schuster (Team black) 33 points beat Team Walton and Barr (Team white) 23 points. Congratulations to all players on the winning team. If you were not on the patio to receive your $50 gift card, see the pro shop.
