Here are the options for Men’s Club registration this season:
2018 Pre-payment Option for Men’s Club Tournaments.
Like last year, The Men’s Club is offering a convenient $200 prepay option for all 2018 club tournaments, excluding the 3-Man Scrambles tournaments as in past years, Members Memorial -NEW, and the 2-Ball Tournament where this year the teams will be auctioned off the night before). The 2018 prepay option includes 18 tournament entries (26 play days), entry into the Glentel/Shaw Cup and will also include a 2018 Year End Wind-Up Banquet Dinner. Individually, these entry fees and dinner would be $390 so even if you can’t make every tournament the pre-pay option is a great value. For us organizers, the pre-payment also helps us prepare for each event without the headache of knowing exactly what the prize pool will be for that given tournament so we encourage as many as possible to help us by choosing the pre-pay option. The fixture list is now posted so we would appreciate that your cash $200 pre-payment be made by January 31st, 2018. Please make payment to Ken Nishi or Michael Yamamoto at the Club who will issue a receipt for your payment. If you are paying by cheque, please make it payable to Ken Nishi, and Interac online payments can be sent to kennishi@shaw.ca (please send your security answer first)
2018 Pay as you go option for Men’s Club Tournaments
New this year, for members who cannot play the majority of the Men’s Club tournaments is a tournament by tournament registration of $15 for one day tournaments and $25 for two day tournaments. These entry fees must be paid into the Men’s Club box at the Pro-Shop prior to your tee time and you still must sign-up for the tournament through the individual tournament pages on the Men’s Club Web-site by the Monday midnight before the event. As mentioned above, qualified members may participate in any tournament with no entry fee however will not be included in the low gross and low net pots, KP’s, Deuce Pot or draw prizes. We anticipate increased prizing in 2018 so don’t miss out!
Men’s Club non-tournament weekend play
We are keeping the same format from our previous captains, allowing members to make their own groups on (most) Saturdays. Sunday round groups will be randomly created.
New this year, the men’s club will be organizing group games on Saturday’s and Sunday’s such as Net Skins, etc… for all men’s club players. To get in on these games, you must pre-pay $10 each week prior to tee-off at the pro-shop. As above, financial participation is voluntary however to book times as part of Men’s Club non-tournament weekend play members must either be signed-up for the 2018 Annual Pre-Pay or be participating as a pay as you go tournament participant. The Men’s Club weekend times are not available to members not participating in the Men’s Club.
