Welcome to the Meadow Gardens Men’s Club (MGMC)!
The MGMC primary objective is to promote competition, comradery and an inclusive club atmosphere for all members through various tournaments and events.
The Men’s Club plays at Meadow Gardens Golf Club but operates independently from the ownership, management and staff. It is open to male full play and intermediate members of Meadow Gardens Golf Club.
In order to facilitate Men’s Club events, a Captain and Vice-Captain are elected at the club AGM every two years. They in turn select additional volunteer executives to promote and manage the MGMC functions. No special benefit or monetary gain accrues to any Men’s Club executive (other than the Captain’s designated parking spot).
100%+ of all funds collected through sponsorships, donations, along with annual and individual play registra tion monies, are awarded publicly at our events, to tournament, KP, Deuce Pot and draw prize winners.
Club tournaments and rules are available at the appropriate section of the web-site. In order for each tournament to function properly, players are required to adhere to the MGMC rules posted for each tournament along with the following rules and MGMC code of conduct.
All tournaments are “Rain or Shine” unless the Pro Shop deems the course unplayable.
Any player who signs up for a tournament must show up for the tournament.
Should any member unexpectedly become unavailable for the tournament date they have committed to, they must notify the Club Captain and advise the Pro-shop before the tee time. Habitual no-shows or no-shows for any team event may be suspended from future events.
The Men’s Club has been granted exclusive access to a two-hour period each weekend morning and members are encouraged to make use of these privileged times.
Every member is responsible for maintaining a proper handicap. All
rounds must be posted within a 48-hours of completion.
