Well finally the weather gave us all a break and showed up today along with everyone else. Had not seen that many smiling faces in quite awhile. Of course first thing this morning no one had tried to make a four foot putt yet. I am sure for some of us the smiles had faded somewhat by the end of the round. One team managed to figure out the putting though, that was the team of Minto Roy, Brian Atkinson, Mike Mets, and Mike Chisholm.
Atkinson, Roy, and the two Mikes. A sentence that just seems to flow naturally. Has the sound of a winning foursome which they were. Team Number One. Finishing with a low score of 59. Tied with the team of Bill Forrest, Jimmy Choi, Perry Nishihata, and Jack Tossavainen and winning by retrogression. Finishing in third place by one shot was newcomer to MG Men’s Club events Chris Gill and his teammates Danny Koriath, Tavis Craik, and Jason Wharrie. Team Number four by retrogression just one shot back was the team of Al Premji, Ed Leck, Ken Nishi, and Dan Lafleur. Congratulations gentlemen. Very Well done today.
