Don’s family is sad to announce his passing at McKenney Creek Hospice on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012. Don was born in Fredericton N.B. and when he was 22 years old he moved to Quebec where he met and married the love of his life Audrey.
He loved animals and he owned, rode and drove Morgan horses for 25 years. Don and Audrey both had long careers at Dom Tar Donnacona. They retired in 1989 and moved to Maple Ridge, B.C. to be close to family and loved ones. He was always an early riser. He was a long time member of Meadow Gardens Golf Club and enjoyed playing golf. He jogged miles every day into his seventies.
He leaves to mourn: His loving wife of 57 years – Audrey, his 5 sisters – Joyce Lynch (& Rob) in Fredericton, Kathryn Coutts (& Chuck – deceased) in Port Credit, Jessie Reynolds (& John – deceased) in Fredericton, Jean Martin (& Erle – deceased) in Sutton Que., Margaret-Ann Smith (& Ed – deceased) and friend Tony in St. Catherines, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
