For over 42 yrs. commercial fishing on the west coast of BC and carpentry formed the foundation for our family. Within those years, Dad built 3 of our family homes.

Retirement meant golf and chess. At both he excelled. As a mentor, his uncle George Sinderson’s approach to golf, established an idea, or desirable attitude in Dad’s mind. Ross and Mary moved to the Dorado subdivision in Pitt Meadows. Ross immediately joined Meadow Gardens Golf Club. He loved to get up early most mornings, hop into his golf cart and make the two-minute trek to the pro shop, enjoying a coffee and a little B.S. with the seniors’ group before heading to the first tee. Meadow Gardens was so important to Ross.
