ATHERTON, David Walter 1948 – 2011 It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Dave early on the morning on September 19. His sudden death was peaceful in light of his recent diagnosis of numerous cancers. Dave was born and raised in Vancouver and followed a heritage of community involvement. Most notably, he was on the Board of Directors of Little Mountain Place and Adanac Park Lodge for many years. Following Dave’s passion for golf he served in many capacities, mainly as Captain and President of Fraser Golf and Country Club. Dave is survived by his wife Roz, son Ken, brother George, sister Betty and a loving extended family.
