Nick Misisco was born in Fernie BC on Friday August 13th 1948 to Margaret & Fred and had 2 siblings, Tom & Lucille. While some feel that Friday the 13th is unlucky, he was a very lucky and wonderful man. Full of life and energy; he loved to entertain & meet people, making friendships easily. Nick moved to Golden BC in the early 1970’s where he owned his own janitorial business. That is where he met Melody and in October 1975 they were married. Moving from Golden to North Vancouver, he started in the advertising industry in 1976 as a sales representative at CKVU/VU13 which today is known as Global TV. Nick was well respected and after 30 years in media he was awarded the Audrey Award for outstanding commitment & contribution to the advertising industry in 2015. He has two daughters, Nicole (Troy) & Janine (Chris) and one granddaughter, Carmen. His passions were family, friends, his granddaughter Carmen, golf and his career. He could be seen from the clubhouse in bright orange which was his favourite colour. Nick passed away at the age of 67 on December 12th 2015 from cancer.
