Thanks to everyone who showed up and played in less than ideal conditions on Saturday.
As usual, with our membership the event provided some great highlights.
First off would like to congratulate Gary Sundvick for hitting the shot of the day on number 13. Gary jarred an eight iron to record an ace and win the KP on that hole. Of course the other members of the group all recorded ones as well and the entire field raised a glass in celebration courtesy of Gary’s generosity.
Low Gross
Moez Noorani and Jordan Gould duked it out on the gross side of the score sheet. Moez eventually coming out on top with a gross score of 71. Moez and Jordan finished first and second respectively holding off a final charge at the winners circle by the ever dangerous and always competitive Michael Uhm who finished third.
Low Net
Harry Vivian and Rod Hughes went toe to toe for the championship title of the net portion of the event. Rod winning that battle carding a net 63 to beat out Harry by one shot. The Italian Station Angelo Viani loped in with a net 65 to finish third.
Memorable Moments
And finally a big congratulations goes out to Jack Tossavainen, Danny Koriath, Mas Watanabe and Chuck Attwater, winners of the little known about Irish Scramble. They are seen here holding the much coveted sheep award as compensation for their herculean efforts.
KP’s and Tag Alongs
KP winners for the event, Gord Lee # 17, Gord ennis #4, Eddie Nakamura #7 and Gary Sundvick # 13. Each receiving 2 sleeves of balls.
Tag Alongs again each receiving 2 sleeves of balls Chris MacMartin, Gavin Copland, Ron Cassan, Gary Sundvick, Jordan Gould and Brian Atkinson.
Prizing
For those who have won sleeves of balls we are still waiting. The latest update has indicated they should arrive this coming weekend. For Jordan and Harry your gift cards are in the Pro Shop.
