Fellas,
The flights have been locked and the tee sheet has been adjusted. We had a few minor moves between flights. If you play tomorrow and your cap changes, golf genius will capture the updated caps for Saturday.
It looks as though the weather may not be as nice as we anticipated, we will play lift, clean and place from tee to green, within the length of a scorecard. We will play lift , clean, rake and place in all bunkers as well. The only areas where ball will be down is in red hazard and fescue areas.
Pace of play will be enforced. Please keep up with groups ahead. Penalties will be given for slow play.
Reminder for everyone regarding the driving range fence on 9. You no longer receive free relief. You have the option to hit a provisional if you are in question of the fence. The other option if you are OB is to place the ball in the fairway on the line of your ball, no closer to the hole and hit your 4th from there. This is the recommended play for “pace of play”if you did not hit a provisional and find your ball in OB area. If you are confused or unsure of this rule, talk with myself, the Pro Shop or with Phil Perry (MG rules Chair).
All players need to check their scores with their playing partners scorecard and sign both scorecards. Once cards are signed, they are final. Hand all scorecards in at the members lounge so they can be inputted into golf genius.
We will be selling 50/50 (draw will be on Sunday) all day Saturday and on Sunday. We will also be holding a $5 raffle for a set of 2 Callaway or Titleist wedges. This draw will be held on Sunday as well.
For Sundays shot gun start we will set up the leaders to golf together at preferred starting holes. The starting holes will be sent out in the late afternoon/early evening, once all scorecards have been collected and verified.
Payouts will be top 5 Gross and Net in each flight.
