The tee sheet has been sent out via email for round 2. We had some very good golf played today and the Green Jacket in all flights is within reach for several players.
Tomorrow is a shotgun start at 8:00am, please be at your starting hole by 7:50.
There will be a burger buffet or the option to order off the menu. If you did not buy your 50/50 tix or your raffle tix for the 2 wedges, we can set you up when you drop off your scorecards at the scorers table.
We need to discuss our pace of play moving forward. There were penalty strokes given today. The Marshalls will give your group a warning if you fall behind. After a few holes, if you are still behind, you get a 2nd warning that automatically comes with a 1 stroke penalty. If you get more warnings, additional penalty strokes will be given. Every player in the field wants to be finished their round between 4 hours and 4 1/2 hours, so when a Marshall gives you a nudge, you need to be quicker in your set up and between shots. There is no reason to argue with the Marshalls or be upset, they are doing what WE AS A GROUP want them to do, speed up play. If someone in your group is pushing the group to speed up and catch up to the group ahead, that means the group has been playing slowly. We need to be accountable to each other in these situations.
