A big shout out and thanks to Garett Divall and his partners for sponsoring our even this weekend!
The weather conditions were ideal for a great weekend of golf. All flights were competitive with retrogression playing a factor in each flight. Our pace of play was excellent as well, most groups finishing around the 4 hours and 15 minute range. There were no warnings given out, meaning no penalties!
We have had a recurring issue with members signing up for the 2 day tournaments and only playing on the Saturday. If we have an injury, that is acceptable but to no show or decide not to play on a Sunday is definitely not acceptable. There will be some sort of a penalty/suspension to any reoccurring men’s club member in the future.
The winner of the 50/50 and walking away with $375 was Ron Cassan.
The winner of the 2 wedges for the 2nd time in 2 years was Karl Ralph.
The winners of 2 boxes of 24 golf balls donated by Glenn Hara were Ted Kim and Rob Rounthwaite.
Our next event is The Ironman on July 25th.
