Today’s round was way too long! We need to do a better job of with our pace of play. Keep up with the group ahead of you.
Here are a few ways to make up time if you fall behind;
– Play ready golf
– Limit your time reading your putts until you catch up to the group ahead
– Walk faster between shots
– Accept that your ball may be lost instead of searching for a ball that isn’t playable even if you actually find it
– Keep your group accountable and kindly let your playing partners know that they are playing slow
Lastly, when a Marshall does talk to you and your group, understand that they are trying to speed up play. Almost every group today complained about the pace of play. The Marshalls are there to get us back on time.
