Reminder of format and rules. We will be playing lift, clean and place , within a scorecard. You cannot move the ball from rough to fairway or fairway to rough. Keep Bal in same cut of grass as it rests. You may lift, clean and rake in all bunkers. Move balls out of standing water inside of a bunker and place it in a reasonable spot, no closer to the hole in that bunker.
This is a Modified Shamble Tournament. After all players tee off on a hole – select the best tee shot and all players proceed to the best tee shot selected. You then play your own ball in from there for the remainder of the hole. Record your own gross score for shots taken – including the one stroke for the tee shot selected. You must all agree on the same tee shot to be used. Majority rules.
Groups that have 4 players are required to use 3 tee shots each.
Groups that have 3 players are required to use 4 tee shots each.
Championship plays from the Blues, A flight from the Hybrids and B Flight from the Whites.
KP’s will be as follows;
Championship- 17th hole
A Flight- 7th hole
B Flight- 4th hole
Open – 13th hole
If a player hits the ball and has the KP, you can mark his shot on the KP sheet and use another players ball if needed.
Teammates who have a player who wins Gross or Net in any flight will receive a sleeve of balls as this still is “sort of” a team event.
